Asu Camp is one of the best thought-out surf camps in the archipelago, overlording the awesome left of the same name. It's all the little things that go together to make a bigger thing, like fans built into the beds and also under the dinner tables, or the beautiful aesthetics of the shell windows and thoughtfully designed bathrooms, all using local materials as sustainably as possible. But the big things are great as well, like the food, the island, the awesome local people and the waves. Earl has the waves sussed in the Hinakos as well as the Niasian west coast and always seems to be at the right spot for the current conditions.
